Hudson Place Residences stands in the middle of one-north, the district planned by JTC for research, technology and media, in its media quarter, Mediapolis. This guide describes the district’s parts and how close each one is, using the developer’s brochure and the distances on OneMap.
Mediapolis and Hudson Place Residences
Mediapolis is the part of one-north built for media and production, and Media Circle runs through its centre. Infinite Studios, the production studios at 21 and 23 Media Circle, are the immediate neighbour, about 100 metres from the site in a straight line, and the Mediacorp campus on Stars Avenue is about 430 metres away; the brochure gives about three minutes’ walk to it. The architect’s brief notes that from about the 7th storey of Block 18 the view opens over the studios.
The brochure’s map of the district marks the new private homes planned around Mediapolis and the offices and studios already there, with the Ayer Rajah Expressway along its southern edge.
